Our fine paving joint sand is the perfect size as a filler for the vertical gaps between pavers. It is fine 1mm River Sand that comes from the Waikato River. It is a versatile product that also has many other applications in playgrounds, bowling greens and plaster mixes.
APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
Rather than buying expensive kiln-dried sand you can spread our joint paving sand thinly over the pavers, go and have some lunch, come back to thoroughly sweep the dry sand into the paving cracks.
COVERAGE
As a guide 1 x 20kg will give approx 6-8m2 coverage with pavers 50mm thick.

An alternative product is the 2mm River Sand. The PRO is that this product is cheaper, the CON is it has larger particle sizes that might not fit into the gaps (Note: 85% of the 2mm river sand sand is still less than 1mm). What it means is that you may have a little left over to spread through the compost or soil.
